Major Geothermal (MG), formed in 2001, is a specialized ground source heat pump system design, forensics and controls firm, based in Wheat Ridge, Colorado (Denver area). Our key personnel have over 160 cumulative years of mechanical experience.
MG designs and consult on projects nationally and worldwide. Commercial projects includes government, institutional and private facilities, from small specialized applications of less than 1,000 ft², to multipurpose facility projects of over 500,000 ft². Our primary client base are mechanical engineers and architects who require experienced closed loop ground heat exchange design support.
Over the past few years Major Geothermal has been increasingly retained by numerous end-users for forensic evaluation of ground source heat pump systems including expert witness work for construction defect litigation.
