Phil Henry – Past President - Founders

Phil Henry was the founder and president of the heat pump industry consultancy GeoExchange Solutions, Inc., and the Web development firm, Web Synergetics. He has a long and deep history with the heat pump industry, including manufacturing (Waterfurnace), HVAC contracting (Brower Mechanical), and with residential builder (Richmond American Homes). Having also been a founder of CalGeo, he currently serves as its president.

Over the course of his career, Phil’s experience has included development of regional and national sales channels and data acquisition protocols. He has designed, consulted, or installed a variety of GHPs, ranging from residential to large-scale commercial and recreational developments. Web development is one of Phil’s specialties and it’s being utilized to build this increasingly dynamic advocacy we know as CaliforniaGeo.org. This organization’s efforts are dedicated to marrying geothermal heat pump technology with California’s ambitious goals of renewable energy, greenhouse gas reduction, and the future growth of Zero Net Energy buildings.
